MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major international breakthroughs into the Latin popular music scene. In 2017 his hit track from 2016, Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. The year after Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and then released ADN as his debut full-length album. This album peaked at 8 places on the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca was an instant Top Five hit for Ozuna and for him in the following year. He was a part of the team alongside Noriel in the song Mala Influencia in the year 2020. He in the year following, he came out with his second album, the charting Dopamina. Later, in 2021, He sang a duet 2021 alongside TINI in her smash hit Maldita Foto. The singer appeared with him in 2023 for 2000, which included the smash hit La Bachata. Turizo was born into a musical family, his younger brother and his mother are also musicians. In his interviews, Turizo has stated that music is an essential part of his life. While a youngster, was playing the ukulele and piano. The first goal was to be a vet, but after his brother Julian convinced to him take lessons in singing with a Cuban singer, he changed career plans.
