Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. The majority of her youth listening to music from the past and boleros of the past, ranchero traditional or romantic songs along with classic classical music. Ana is a fan of Tangos. Additionally, she enjoys operas as well as any drama. Following her singing lessons with mom and sister, she began more intense training in vocals at age 16 under the guidance by renowned Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was a member of many chamber and opera choirs. Following her move to the United States, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2002, she made her way to Southern California. She's a frequent solo performer at events, private parties and other occasions and performs the traditional Latin American Music. As an instructor and performer in the local area and instructor, her passion for art and music has her active in a variety of initiatives. Ana is a previous member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as well as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana is thankful for being able to share her passion and enthusiasm for traditional Latin American songs with others, and in doing so hopes to inspire a passion, especially among younger generations to keep this tradition alive.Viva Mexico!
